2. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When the website is accessed, the web server processes access data that is technically necessary. This may include, in particular, the IP address, date and time of access, the page or file requested, the volume of data transferred, the referrer URL, browser type, browser version, operating system and HTTP status code.
This processing serves to provide the website securely, reliably and without errors, and to detect and defend against attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable operation of our website.
According to STRATO, the non-anonymised IP address is stored for no more than seven days in order to detect and defend against attacks. The access logs made available to the website operator contain anonymised host names or IP addresses and are available for the preceding six weeks.

3. Cookies and audience measurement
This website itself does not set cookies. It uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services and does not embed external fonts, maps, videos or social-media elements.
If the STRATO hosting environment uses technically necessary session cookies, they are used solely to provide the website technically and are deleted when the browser is closed. We do not use them for audience measurement or profiling.
4. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide, in particular your email address, your name and the content of your message, in order to handle your enquiry.
If your message concerns a possible or existing contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR is the legal basis. For other enquiries, processing is carried out pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to business and editorial enquiries.
We delete the data once the enquiry has been fully dealt with and no legal retention obligations or legitimate reasons for further storage apply.
5. Links to Amazon
The website contains ordinary links to product pages on Amazon. Amazon content is not embedded in this website. Until you click an Amazon link, this website does not establish a connection to Amazon.
